Yes, qualifying members who have a Company Shop membership can nominate up to 2 other people for membership. Nominated members don’t have to meet the membership criteria.
Members who have been nominated themselves cannot nominate other people. Please note, nominations are not available to Community Shop members.
Yes, NHS volunteers are eligible for membership. When applying, please indicate that you are a volunteer and show your NHS ID card when collecting your membership card at the store.
Yes, if you’re retired and receiving a pension, you’re eligible for membership. You will need to provide proof of receipt of your pension when you collect your membership card.
Please allow up to 3 working days for your membership application to be processed. You will receive an email confirmation once your application has been processed. If you have not heard from us within 3 working days or have any other questions, please contact us.
If you do not currently have a valid driver's license or passport, please provide an alternative form of identification, such as a signed bank card or bus pass. This will be accepted in store and allow you to collect your membership card.
You may have accidentally clicked the submit button twice during the application process. The first click would have submitted your application successfully, but the second click would have generated an error message because your email address is already registered.

Please bring the following documentation with you when collecting your membership card:
Your most recent digital or printed payslip (must be from the last 30 days)
Proof of means-tested benefits or proof of qualifying pension/eligibility (digital versions are accepted)
Proof of name and address (e.g., utility bill, bank statement. Digital versions are accepted)
Photo ID (if you do not have a photo ID, you may bring a signed bank card and statement)
There's no time limit to collect your card, if your circumstances are the same as when you signed up then you are welcome to collect your card at a time that's convenient to you.
To collect your Company Shop membership card, please visit your nearest store and go to the reception desk. You can find our store locations here.
All goods purchased from Company Shop are for personal consumption only and are not to be resold. Any goods that are seen as being resold may result in your membership being revoked due to a breach of our Terms and Conditions.
If you find that a product you have purchased from Company Shop is out of date or that you are not satisfied with it for any reason, please do not consume the product. Instead, bring it back to our store reception desk with your receipt. We will process a refund where appropriate.
Please note that due to the nature of the goods sold by Company Shop, all product complaints must be directed to Company Shop directly and not to the retailers or manufacturers from whom we source our products.

To change any of your personal details, please contact staff at your local store reception.
You will be required to provide proof of changes. If updating your address, a recent utility bill or bank statement proving the address change is required. If updating your name, a marriage/deed poll certificate will be required. The store will complete a request form for you and your details will update within three working days.
Please keep hold of your receipt and take it to the Member Services Desk on your next visit.
A store colleague will be able to check and process accordingly, alternatively you can contact member services.
If your membership card has been lost or stolen, please visit the member services desk at your nearest store for a replacement.

There will be a £1 fee charged, which is then donated to charity.
Members can bring up to two guests with them each time they shop and can make a purchase when checking out with the member. However, a member can only make two transactions per day.
Due to the nature of surplus stock, we're unable to offer an online shopping experience and we are unable to offer a delivery service. If you are unable to shop yourself, you could nominate someone to shop on for you by nominating them for membership (however, only members who were not nominated themselves can nominate new members).
Unfortunately we cannot post your card to you as the final step to the application is for our store colleagues to check your eligibility and take a photo to print onto your card. There is no time limit to collect your card however, and so you are welcome to collect your card when it is convenient to you.
Yes, you can collect your card and shop in any of our Company Shop stores.
You cannot use a Company Shop card at the Community Shop. The Company Shop and Community Shop are separate memberships with different eligibility criteria. To be a member of a Community Shop you would need to be in receipt of means tested benefits AND live within a 5-mile radius of the store. You cannot hold a membership for both.
