Hauntingly Good Vodka-based Halloween Cocktails

It’s spooky season, and with it comes tricks, treats, and costume parties.

Will you be hosting some Halloween festivities this year? If so, stick around, because we’ve got some terrifyingly tasty cocktails recipes that you’ll be dying to try out...

The main ingredient you’ll need for these cocktails is vodka. Whether you like bog-standard, fancy, or flavoured- these will make a killing.

Jarring Jiggly Jellies

It's alive!

Bring back the classic film and experiment by making your own Blob monsters as boozy jelly shots. It's not a party if you don’t have jelly shots, and it’s not a Halloween party if they’re not crazy colours and garnished with bugs (gummy worms).

  • High heat dissolve jelly powder in water.

  • Wait for the water to cool, and add your chosen vodka (and desired quantity)
Spooky secret: waiting until the water is cold will ensure that you won’t accidentally burn off the alcohol whilst you make your jellies.

  • Add a few drops of food colouring to make your creations even more exciting and then pour into moulds or cups to set in the fridge for a few hours.

  • Garnish with gummy worms to add to the scare factor and enjoy.

Dracula's Kiss

Satisfy even the thirstiest of vampires with this concoction.

Don’t panic, Dracula won’t want this cocktail- the dark colour is possible thanks to the dark hues of the juices involved, and if you want, a drop of red food colouring too.

  • Put lime juice around the rim of your glass, and coat with sugar.
Spooky secret: add a bit of red food colouring to your sugar to wow your guests.

  • Mix your chosen vodka and grenadine together in a glass (or a shaker if you’re fancy).

  • Add your desired levels of lime juice and cranberry juice and shake again. The more cranberry juice you add, the darker it will be in colour.

  • Serve in your fancy glass with ice, and garnish with some vampire teeth for extra pizzazz.

Carrie's Revenge

We’ve got lots of partnerships with big brands, and we get our stock from them. Having lots of partners is good- for all of us. Here’s how:

  1. We buy surplus from partners.

  2. Stock doesn’t get wasted and instead ends up on our shelves.

  3. You get great deals on big brands.

The more partnerships we have, the more stock is saved from going to waste. This means that you get access to a larger range of products. And, with our reduced prices, more people have the chance to get access to good food, for much less.

Revenge is best served chilled, and with an added sparkle.

Bring the drama to your party with the help of edible glitter and red food colouring in this tart twist on the classic Screwdriver.

  • Mix your chosen vodka with orange juice, red food colouring and edible glitter.

  • To reference the classic horror film more closely, add some freshly squeezed blood orange juice.

  • Give it a good stir, and wow your guests with this tasty concoction and swirling sparkles.

Please drink responsibly.
